The sunflower has been Ukraine's national flower for a long time, but it has quickly become a worldwide symbol of solidarity for the country and its people since the Russian invasion began. 
Like many of my paintings this started from something completely different.  I traced back my work to learn it started from a graffiti style heart painting that I was manipulating  in 3D.  I took screen shots from various angles  with various colour changed and finally discovered a sunflower.  I had been working on this months ago and put it aside, but recently came across it and was called to create this piece. This painting is emitting positive energy, love and light to the people in the Ukraine and all who are  affected by the devastation that is taking place. 
May this painting radiate love and peace to help heal all.

Howdy From Austin

More than a homage, I'd like to give a broader concept of the name "Lady" Bird. A female noble title, a title prefixed to the name of a goddess, like the Mother Nature, she nourishes, provides, cares, welcomes everyone. She is the bridge that connects lives and accommodates differences. Despite controversies LadyBird Lake prevailed and carries good vibes to this piece of paradise.

They are guardians who protect against poison and disease. They are even helpful against excessive rains and typhoons.

Blue Planet (1400 × 1864) an observation of New Mexico.  The dry plains, poverty stricken and abandoned homesteads blanket the vast desert fields for miles.   The desolation is catastrophic.  Coupled with territorial crime and lack of societal needs the question for the Native American lifestyle is really:  do we have this wrong and you right?  Why ask this?  The Native American lives entirely by hunting, gathering, nesting.  These needs are so minimal, it makes a passerby question American Values.  Indigenous people are, is a conversation important for the NFT Community in the continuum of progress and identification.

To persevere in the face of fear, uncertainty & doubt is a trait worth preserving. This work is my homage to the Austin artists who've struggle to afford living in the capital city of Texas.

A water spirit like a fetus in womb endeavors to protect her soul and purity. The sculpture is also a part of IAMEVE's music video "Raindrops" which is about creation, fractured identity, and transcending physical form.

An introspective look at American's led by Olegarks who thrive on derision and propagandize the continual devision through media.  Sadly, American’s believe or ignore the hype!  The need to bring communities of all colours together is the only true end to this fight. No matter what religion you are segregation has no part in life and it is not to be contained but to be shouted from the highest mountain peaked in an all inclusive megaphone. Change is sooooo overdue, White Supremacy needs to be shut down, and the GOP needs to move out.

The title “Reservations Required” is a morose satire in the treatment of Native Americans.  The display encapsulates the American version of world historical treatment to anyone who is not white.
The importance of memorializing Western Civilization is an important conversation on racism in America as a continuum.  It's our duty; my duty as an Artist to display the facts anytime we encounter it.

The Occurrence: Part I

Out of the blue of an otherwise perfectly ordinary day, it came careening down from the sky, crashing in a spectacular and seemingly endless cloud of shimmering ash that spread throughout the land, sparing nothing. No one could possibly have known what would ensue. When the dust finally settled, it was onto a world that would be forever transformed. 

Some say it began on the day that The Child first noticed an almost imperceptible difference in the colors on a snake. But it was still the Before Times, and no one yet understood. 

What All agreed on, in retrospect, was that there is a dark side to seductive beauty that at first remains unseen… 

The Occurrence: Species 3 / The Ash

The Rusting Knight is a hero cursed to live an extremely long life to serve as a constant reminder he couldn't save the one he loved from the Demon King. He spends his days slaughtering demons that threaten the helpless or those whose lives have been tainted by their existence. Will he ever find peace?

This is my friend Leon Bridges and I decided to throw him into my black and white series. In this series I only use the hues of black and white to create a plethora of different canvases. SXSW is all about music most importantly so why not showcase someone who was born in Fort Worth , Texas. I am extremely excited for people to view this masterpiece. Enjoy! 

Boog

A creature emerges from the dank, watery depths, enveloped by a geyser of red; a substance of indeterminate yet ominous nature. Bats flock overhead, echoing the Mexican free-tailed bats that swarm nightly at dusk from under the Congress Bridge over Ladybird Lake in downtown Austin. Haunting, with a pervasive sense of silence that might be broken by an incident at any moment, the bats and the creature hail from the stuff of legend, echoing the legendary status of the Austin bats themselves. All are things that people fear and dwell on, to which they are nonetheless irresistibly drawn.

Austin, Texas is home to a vibrant cultural arts community and an equally unique and thriving natural ecosystem. This work celebrates both the vibrant creative culture of Austin and also its delicate aquatic ecosystem along the Colorado River.

Marine Life Tribute

This work was inspired by the Mexican free-tailed bats that live in the Austin Texas Congress Bridge environment. Particularly, the way the bats fly as a group. Humans can learn a thing or two from bats, moving together as one. My art piece celebrates and amplifies the cooperative nature that can be seen when the bats fly in unison, a metaphor for human behavior. 

UNISON

Music is reflected in the literature of every era in American history, and the soundtrack, indeed the heartbeat, of the Beat Generation was modern jazz. Specifically, it was the propulsive, adventurous and boundary defying sound of bebop, which had evolved during the early and mid-1940s out of the swing era of the previous decade, that captured the imagination of the Beat writers and their followers. With its concentration on small-group dynamics and solo virtuosity, bebop could be seen as a necessary reaction to big band swing’s stifling rigidity of form and structure. Charlie Parker, Max Roach, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk and other giants provided the rhythm for the work and a model for the lifestyle of the Beats, who adopted the “hep cat” lingo of the musicians and in many cases unfortunately, their taste for heroin, Benzedrine and other drugs.

This revolutionary poem Ginsberg wrote it in 1955, the year I was born. I read it in the 70s when the translated texts of the Beat Generation arrived thanks to Fernanda Pivano.
It is a lacerating poem and still relevant even if we are moving towards the metaverse ...


Monky & Beat Generation

The title of this piece is Supreme Mind, it is part of a new collection of fractal portraits in the Eternal Energy series. This digital painting started as a real-world pencil illustration, scanned at 4k resolution, and then carefully painted, with layers of digital fractal art until the final result.

Linder's newest collection of artwork is titled Eternal Energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it always was, always has been, everything that ever existed always exists, it's moving into form, through form, and out of form.

SUPREME MIND

Each artist is a witness of his time and his past. In 1972, after reading Kerouac's "On the Road" at the age of 17, I grabbed a backpack and hitchhiked around Europe. A unique experience. With this book Kerouac marked the birth of the Beat Generation.
For me it was the beginning of making art.

 I just wanted to do an illustration of a powerful, sexy woman smoking a joint with my name "SOUL" being formed in the smoke LOL! But also in the process,  incorporate elements of Black Culture, specifically the "Afro Puffs". The piece actually has various depths of  meaning that I love discussing with people when they experience the work.
