This PREMATURE artwork is the 106th Augmented Klecksography Painting.
It was born from a color splash onto black cardboard and then blind-shaped by my hands following the instinct. The connection with the matter led to the materialization of this creature coming from the unconscious and crystallized in time through photography.
Now it lives in a unique motion-state in the Blockchain, perpetually reiterating its beauty before your eyes.

Western man is forged on the spectacularizing of information by the mass media through television and the internet, on the bulimic raising of money by making him a slave and on swallowing junk food well aware of harming his health. Contemporary man desperately spends his days settling on superfluous values, trying to decode issues that do not deserve importance, detaches himself from social groups, closes in on himself. It is here that he takes refuge in consumerism and develops an identity annihilation of the individual

Wealth Over Wages Snowglobe: A tribute to our community leaders from all parts of the world, this snow globe served up the scene with a bold message. It’s design is inspired by Indian fabric and tile patterns. The patterns are radiating from the globe and on one of the presents is a mandala pattern.

Melancholy is the third work belonging to the triptych of the "Statue cities". Melancholy analyzes, like the other images of the cycle, the urbanization process as a global cultural phenomenon and the individual within society through the inclusion in a metropolis of a giant statue surmounted by buildings. The statue precisely symbolizes the discomfort of the individual devoured by the uncertainties produced by the urban environment and by the homologation of the single symptom of today's capitalism.

Cosy in Love

"Out 2 Lunch" is a short animation I made as a response to the toilet paper buying panic sweeping the nation during the early days of Covid 2020 pandemic.

This is the animated Dream Variation, inspired by the vegetation and vivid colours in West Africa, foliage and flowers flourish in a hot, exotic, dreamy jungle. This artwork has two souls, physical (oil on canvas) and digital. Dream Variation was first created in oils in 2016, re-created and painted digitally with Procreate in 2018 and animated with After Effects in 2021.  This animated Dream Variation was exhibited at CADAF - Crypto & Digital Art Fair Online 2021.

In this increasingly crowded society of temptations and challenges we find ourselves having to adapt in order to "survive" among the people. More and more frequently we are faced with situations where people hide what they really are for fear of being judged and labeled. 

Masking our true "essence" is so simple that we can hardly do without it and every time we take more pleasure in doing it because it makes us feel appreciated, part of a society, of the world. This happens because we do not believe in our abilities and we are not satisfied with what we are but often it is only the result of the interpretation we have of ourselves.


Masks

The inspiration behind this piece is the concept of Duality, Yin & Yang.  It is about finding the balance between two competing forces within and harmony between two contradictions. The light cannot exist without the dark; there is no good without evil and no right without wrong. That is the phenomenon of life.
